Thanks for sharing Michael, we really need to fix the longstanding planning and institutional issues we have with public transport if we want to convert the serious public and political support into service that gets used by the public!

It is akin to the way I keep bringing up UN SDG 11 (SDGs have had such failed messaging, per so much from the UN) as an "umbrella" we all should pay more attention to. https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal11 Sustainable Communities encompass... all the topics you have connected here in your suggestions post. Food policy is urban policy is climate policy. Transportation policy (etc). Affordable housing (etc). We have to do a better job of helping people see that the thing that is most important to them is part of this bigger picture, and that there's a huge collective of people all heading in that direction. You just did that with your post. :-)
