I bet this is something my city could implement. We have a successful municipal baseball team (the Cape Catfish) and the ballpark is part of a larger public park area. They do charge admission for the ballpark, but they also sell beer there. Afaik, vendors sell beer at special events NOT at the ballpark too.
The greater park itself is massive and in a walkable part of town, so I could see an argument for wanting food vendors or cafes at the park where people take their kids, not even necessarily beer.
